Dear father,

Thank you for not submitting the FAFSA 3 months ago, like I so nicely asked. Oh, and thanks for not submitting it after I asked again about a month ago. The deadline is in a week and I would really like to go to college. Fair to say that if you don’t get your shit together you might actually have to fork up some money for me to go to school?! So last night I went out on a date with this guy named Al. We met through a couple of mutual friends on Sunday and we have been inseparable ever since. 

He might just be the sweetest guy I have ever met. Seriously. 

& he drives a porsche. Oh, and did I mention that he plays for the Husker baseball team?! Yeah. That… 

Anyways. We ended up going to downtown omaha and walking along this gorgeous (but scary) suspended walking bridge, and took a short trip across the nebraska/iowa border ;). And then walked back to the lake and sat on the dock.  

After it got dark, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and ended up staying an hour after we ate to watch some basketball game. Haha. 

Throughout the night we talked about anything and everything and not a moment of awkwardness was presented. I can’t even begin to explain how he makes me feel. I feel like I’ve known Al for my entire life, and we just met 5 days ago…

But he’s perfect… 

Did I mention he plays for the Husker Baseball team?! Yeah… :)
